PRESENTING ORIGINAL DRIVER’S LICENCE

Students must ensure their original Driver’s license or BC Learners Driver’s license or Foreign Driver’s license is carried with them at all times during their lessons. Failure to present the applicable Driver’s license will result in the cancellation of the lesson and students will be responsible for covering the cost of the lesson(s).

REFUND POLICY (PACKAGE LESSONS)

Students who cancel at any time after the first lesson will be charged the individual lesson price for each lesson they have taken. In addition, a $25 processing fee will be applied, while the remaining balance will be refunded.

Please treat our instructors with respect. Open Road Driving School will not tolerate abusive, aggressive, or threatening behaviour towards our instructors. In addition, anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused service. Should any of these circumstances arise, Open Road Driving School reserves the right to cancel the student lesson, with no refund. Please help us to make your experience with Open Road Driving School a positive one.

LATE CANCELLATIONS

48 hours’ notice of cancellation is required. Any notice of cancellation less than 48 hours from the date and time of your appointment will require the full amount of the lesson.

ROAD TEST BOOKING SERVICE

Students must sign a consent and release form before Open Road Driving School can book a road test on their behalf. Students understand that if they fail to attend a Road Test appointment booked on their behalf by Open Road Driving School without providing Open Road Driving School with 72 hours’ notice, as we must notify ICBC, will result in the student being charged a fee of $25 by ICBC for each missed road test appointment. This fee is in addition to the usual road test fees.

PACKAGE EXPIRY POLICY

All packages must be completed and used up within 12 months following the date of the student’s first lesson. After this time the package will expire and the outstanding lessons will become null and void.
